  • Biography:
My teaching philosophy is that every student learns differently and has different needs. This is why I don’t believe in a one size fits all teaching method. I assess each student and create a lesson plan based on their needs and the subject matter being taught.
I use a wide array of methods, from lecturing, open discussion, presentations, flash cards, documentaries, word association games and many more.
My first meeting is used to assess what the student’s strengths and weaknesses are, what type of support they need and how they learn best. I then create a lesson plan suited to them and am always open to adjusting it when necessary.
Teaching is also about listening and I ask for feedback from each student in order to ensure they are getting the most out of each session.
