Q: Shaykh, Can the Hanabila pray Salatul Eid as a family during this lockdown?

A: Salām Alikum, al-Mirdāwi in al-Insāf said: The Eid Prayer is the same as Jumah, in the aspect of the number of people, so to pray the Eid prayer there needs to be at least 40 Men to attend the prayer. If there are more than 40 in the family, they can pray Eid, otherwise it will not count as an Eid Prayer.
